We Purchased this cabin in March 2021.  Recent updates to the Cabin include:

-New King Bed and Mattress in the Master Suite

-New King Mattress in the Loft

-New Linens

-New shower heads in both bathrooms

-New TCL Smart-TV added to the living room

-New Samsung Smart-TV added to the Master Suite

-New Samsung Smart-TV added to the Loft

-Most importantly, A deep clean of the Cabin!!!

Riley's Lazy Haven is an exceptionally maintained cabin that sleeps up to 4 people. It is located in the highly desirable Sky Harbor Subdivision.  The Cabin is far enough off of the beaten path to enjoy the peacefulness of the Great Smoky Mountains, but close enough to be at all the area attractions in just minutes. The first stop light into Gatlinburg is 10 minutes away.  Riley's Lazy Haven is within 15-20 minutes of downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Splash Country, Dixie Stampede, and the legendary hiking trails of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  Don't forget Ober Gatlinburg for winter skiing, ice skating, and snow tubing.  

This real log cabin is perfect for couples wanting refuge for their exciting Smoky Mountain Vacation or honeymooners looking for a quiet romantic getaway.

Riley's Lazy Haven offers guests thoughtful amenities so your stay can be relaxing, enjoyable, and your home away from home in the mountains. 

Enter the Cabin into the living room with a vaulted ceiling.  The living room has a beautiful stone fireplace, a comfortable couch, chair, and classic rocking chair.  A newly added Smart-TV has cable and provides the option to login to your favorite Streaming Apps.  

This cabin features a first-floor master bedroom with a King bed, Jacuzzi tub, and Smart-TV.  The TV is on a swivel arm so you can watch your favorite programs while lying in bed or relaxing in the Jacuzzi tub.  The Master Suite has its own full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.  *There is approximately 12” (one foot) clearance between the corner of the bed and Jacuzzi tub.  I felt the King Bed is worth the limited clearance space.  This can be seen in my photographs.

The Cabin has an open loft with King bed.  The King bed has a new mattress.  You’ll also find a cozy nook in the loft with a twin bed.  The loft has its own full bathroom with a standup shower.  The loft area has a SmartTV without a traditional cable box.  Cable is accessed free of charge through the Spectrum App which is already downloaded on the TV.  And again, you have the option to login to your favorite Streaming Apps.

The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped to prepare home cooked meals.  A charcoal Weber grill is located outside on the back deck to grill up your favorite BBQ meats.  Enjoy your meals out on the deck or in the kitchen.

The spacious deck off the back of the Cabin has a table with seating for four.  There are two rocking chairs to relax in while listening to the sounds of the Smoky Mountains.  The hot tub is always inviting on a cold winter night or after a long hike.

Riley’s Lazy Haven provides Wi-Fi free of charge for your enjoyment! Feel free to watch as much Netflix on your devices as you'd like!!

There is a Keurig and regular coffee maker at the cabin.  I make every effort to supply basic K-cups and coffee grounds.  Feel free to bring your own favorite coffee.

Cell Service: My Verizon cell service works "ok" for calling or texting.  Data usage is not the best but the Cabin Wifi works great.

Fireplace: For obvious reasons, the fireplace is non-operational during warm weather months.  The fireplace is operational October 15th through March 15th.

Mountain Roads: This Cabin is on a mountain in the Sky Harbor subdivision.  It is easily accessed via asphalt roads.  There are sharp turns and steep grades, which might be a shock to some.  Please take your time driving.  Some roads require you to pull over so another car can safely pass.  Don't panic, our fully loaded Honda Odyssey mini-van and Honda Civic get to the cabin with no problems under dry and rainy conditions.

With that being said, in the event of snow, going up or down the mountain is not recommended.  This area averages 10 inches of snow per year.

Pets/Animals: I do NOT permit pets or animals of any kind for any reason.  My housekeeper has SEVERE respiratory allergies. 

There is no smoking or vaping of any kind permitted in the Cabin!!

Grill Charcoal: Unfortunately, I do not guarantee a supply of charcoal at this time.  Please plan accordingly.

Check in Time: 4:00 PM (sometimes my housekeeper will have the Cabin ready sooner but there is no guarantee).

Check Out Time: 10:00 AM.  The housekeeper arrives shortly after 10:00 A.M..
