We Purchased this cabin in July 2019.  Recent updates to the Cabin include:

-New King Bed, new Mattress, & new bedding in the King Suite

-New Mattress & new bedding in the Queen Suite

-New flooring in the Recreational Room and Bedroom Suites

-New Living Room Couch and Recliner

-Vizio Smart-TVs added to living room and King Suite

-Added a stone outdoor fire pit area

-Most importantly, A deep clean of the Cabin!!!

Buddy’s Lazy Haven is an exceptionally maintained cabin that sleeps 4 people. It is a private Cabin in a very small subdivision. The Cabin is far enough off of the beaten path to enjoy the peacefulness of the Great Smoky Mountains, but close enough to be at all the area attractions in just minutes. The Cabin sits exactly one mile west off the Gatlinburg Art Loop.  The first stop light into Gatlinburg is 10 minutes away.  Buddy’s Lazy Haven is within 15-20 minutes of downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Splash Country, Dixie Stampede, and the legendary hiking trails of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  Don't forget Ober Gatlinburg for winter skiing, ice skating, and snow tubing.  

This 2-story traditional style log cabin is perfect for couples wanting refuge for their exciting Smoky Mountain Vacation or honeymooners looking for a quiet romantic getaway.

Buddy's Lazy Haven offers guests thoughtful amenities so your stay can be relaxing, enjoyable, and your home away from home in the mountains. 

Enter the Cabin into the Recreational Room.  Play a unique game of carpet ball or cards at the large table.  There is a TV with cable to watch your favorite programs.  The Queen Suite is off the Recreational Room.  The Suite has its own full bathroom and new mattress. 

Walk upstairs into the open concept living room and kitchen.  Sit by the fireplace on the new couch or recliner.  A newly added Smart-TV has cable and provides the option to login to your favorite Streaming Apps. 

The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped to prepare home cooked meals.  A charcoal Weber grill is located outside to grill up your favorite BBQ meats.  

A King Suite is off the living room and has a new mattress and log bed.  A newly added Smart-TV has cable and provides the option to login to your favorite Streaming Apps.  The King Suite has its own full bathroom. 

The second floor deck is spacious with a dining table, a charcoal Weber grill , and hot tub.  This hot tub is private from view of other Cabins. 

There is a full size washer and dryer on the lower level of the Cabin.

Buddy’s Lazy Haven provides Wi-Fi free of charge for your enjoyment! Feel free to watch as much Netflix on your devices as you'd like!!

There is a Keurig and regular coffee maker at the cabin.  I make every effort to supply basic K-cups and coffee grounds.  Feel free to bring your own favorite coffee.

Property feedback: Although I have personally stayed in this Cabin and am not a stranger to hosting, I may have overlooked a detail.  If you notice something that needs my attention or have a suggestion to better the Cabin for yourself or future guest, please let me know.  I'm always looking to make my Cabins better and better.  I take great pride in keeping up on the maintenance of my Cabins.

Cell Service: My Verizon cell service works "ok" for calling or texting.  Data usage is not the best but the Cabin Wifi works great.

Fireplace: For obvious reasons, the fireplace is non-operational during warm weather months.  The fireplace is operational October 15th through March 15th.

Mountain Roads: The Cabin is easily accessed via asphalt roads.  The driveway is moderately steep but I feel is very easy to travel up and down.  There is plenty of space at the top of the driveway to turnaround.  

With that being said, in the event of snow, going up or down the mountain is not recommended.  This area averages 10 inches of snow per year.

Pets/Animals: I do NOT permit pets or animals of any kind for any reason.  My housekeeper has SEVERE respiratory allergies. 

There is no smoking or vaping of any kind permitted in the Cabin!!

Grill Charcoal: Unfortunately, I do not guarantee a supply of charcoal at this time.  Please plan accordingly.

Outdoor Fire Pit: I do supply wood for the outdoor fire pit.  The fire shall be supervised at all times!  If you cause a forest fire, YOU may be charged criminally!

Check in Time: 4:00 PM (sometimes my housekeeper will have the Cabin ready sooner but there is no guarantee).

Check Out Time: 10:00 AM.  The housekeeper arrives shortly after 10:00 A.M..
